Just outside of the entrance to Lake Wateree State Park, River Road (#101) crosses over Duchman Creek (which is also known as “Dutchman's Creek”) at the James H. (Mac) McSwain Bridge. A nice walkway runs along the east side of this bridge, where you can get some spectacular views of Lake Wateree. From the north end, the walkway continues to the entrance to Lake Wateree State Park.
