You might think that this boat landing got its name because it is often flooded, but it was actually named for Augustus M. Flood, Jr. It is located on the eastern side of Lake Moultrie in the town of Bonneau Beach. There is a small boat ramp here, plus an overlook with picnic tables and a large grassy field. You can get some wonderful panoramic views of the lake from here. The Palmetto Trail passes very close to this landing as well.
