Patriots Point is a great place to visit and learn about military history. Located on Charleston Harbor, it is home to several historic boats, displays, and monuments. Onboard the USS Yorktown are dozens of displays devoted to maritime and naval history, the Congressional Medal of Honor Society's museum and headquarters, and more than twenty historic military aircraft. On the shore is a full-size replica of a Navy Advance Tactical Support Base from the Vietnam era, and a gift shop.
