This boat ramp in Mount Pleasant provides access to the Charleston Harbor where the Wando River flows into the Cooper River. There are some nice views of the harbor and the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge here as well. This area also has some great historical significance, as it was the first “black beach” in the area. It once featured a dance pavilion, a bath house, a playground, and ball fields.
