  • Barnet Park

    Located in downtown Spartanburg, this seven-acre city park is home to the Zimmerli Amphitheater, which provides an outdoor theater for musical, dance and drama performances. The picnic pavilion and several miles of walking trails make the area a nice getaway from the business district, day or night.

  • Berry Field

    Located across the highway from Cleveland Park, this area has a large grassy field and a lighted baseball/softball facility which can be reserved.

  • Boiling Springs Memorial

    Amidst the growth in the city of Boiling Springs, the original spring has been all but forgotten. Years ago, it was a large geyser which attracted people from all over. Today, this monument protects all that is left of it.

  • Cleveland Park of Spartanburg

    Spartanburg′s Cleveland Park offers some wonderful amenities, including picnic shelters, a lakeside promenade, an island gazebo, a spacious playground, walking trails, and a 3400 square foot event center. Facilities within the park are available to rent for the special occasions such as family reunions, weddings, receptions, banquets, school parties, and birthday parties. The Event Center is also a great place for business meetings and training sessions.

  • Croft State Park

    With over seven thousand acres of land, this is one of the largest of South Carolina's state parks. At one time, it was known as the “Croft State Natural Area”. Located in the foothills region near Spartanburg, this natural area offers a wide variety of activities. Two ponds provide opportunities for fishing and boating. It also has hiking trails and horse trails. A skeet shooting range located just outside of the park gate.

  • Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve

    Originally built as a private garden by the Hatcher family, this park is a great place to escape for a few hours when you are in Spartanburg. Unlike many other gardens, this one is on a hilly, wooded terrain. You can stroll the paths to view the multitudes of annuals, perennials, and shrubs, along with the streams and the animal life. The shelter at the top of the hill has restrooms and a drink machine.

  • Musgrove Mill State Historic Site

    The historic site of Edward Musgrove's Mill was also the location of an important Revolutionary war battle. An interpretive center now tells the story of this battle. Several short hiking trails wander through the scenery which is especially impressive in the fall. Special events are held here at certain times of the year, including encampments and living history programs.

  • Pacolet River Heritage Trust Preserve

    The Pacolet River Heritage Preserve in the foothills has several interesting hiking trails that run from the parking area to the Pacolet River. Along the way you can see some unusual plants, animals, and historic features.

  • Va-Du-Mar McMillan Park

    Out in a residential section of Boiling Springs, Va-Du-Mar McMillan Park has a large playground and a group of sports facilities, including a disc golf course.
