This park in the eastern sandhills region has a variety of trees, plant life, and a nature trail which leads to a beaver pond. Several picnic areas and two playgrounds overlook a larger pond at the center of the park, with a developed campground nearby.
The Little Pee Dee State Park Bay Heritage Preserve lies directly adjacent to the north side of this state park.

How to Get There
Take I-95 to exit #190 and go east on SC #34 for 4.0 kilometers (2.5 miles) into the town of Dillon, SC, then go straight on SC #9. Continue east on SC #9 for 10.6 km. (6.6 mi.), then turn right onto road #22. Go south until you see the park on both sides of the street.
