This 14-mile trail along old logging railroads and trams in the Francis Marion National Forest traverses a wide array of habitat types. It is open for hiking, off-road bicycling, and horseback riding. Some litter may be found here, but it is a nice place for the most part.

How to Get There

  • Take I-526 to exit #23 and go north on Clements Ferry Road about eight miles to the town of Wando. From there, turn left and go north on SC #41 a short distance. Look for the trail entrance on the left side of the road.
